MARK IV PREAMP EMULATOR kit ULTRA
Description
Field-effect transistors work in a similar way to triodes used to build preamplifiers for tube guitar amplifiers. Thanks to this feature, simulating tube preamps with JFETs (e.g. j201) has become very popular among designers and allows to achieve very good sound effects. Below is the Mesa Boogie Mark IV preamp emulator. It should be noted that the circuit has a correction before and not after clipping, which requires the use of an amplifier with its own correction, not the power amplifier itself.
The kit ULTRA includes:
- PCB
- Japan, high quality electrolytic capacitors
- metalized resistors, film capacitors
- semiconductors
- 3PDT rock solid footswitch
- Alpha potentiometers
- Lumberg DC socket
- Neutrik Jacks
- HQ knobs
- wires
