Description
Tube Driver is a distortion used by many premier league guitarists like Gilmour and Satriani. First, the signal is amplified in an operational amplifier, then the distortion section is tube, based on the ECC83 double triode. It has quite a characteristic sound, at low gain we have an interesting overdrive with a very high harmonic content, and at higher gain the more dirty distortion begins to dominate.
